Get your Housing questions ready, the LotRO team will try to answer them!
As every year in August, D&Co du Milieu is organizing a Q&A session with the Standing Stone Games team working on Housing in LotRO.
For one hour, on Friday, August 29 at 2 PM (server time), the developers (Scenario & Friends) will be there to answer your questions about LotRO Housing.
The event will take place on the D&Co du Milieu Discord server, and will also be streamed live on the site’s YouTube channel.

Everything You Need to Know
Starting from 2 PM (server time) Friday, August 28, connect to the D&Co du Milieu Discord or the D&Co du Milieu YouTube channel to participate in the event.
How it Works
Discord:
After joining our Discord server, you’ll find a category of channels called Q&A with SSG.
Under this category, you’ll see the following channels:
- General: For general Housing questions that don’t fit into other categories.
- Housing Hooks: For all your questions about hooks only, existing ones, ones you’d like to see added, or hook consolidation.
- Decoration Items: Use this channel to ask questions about in-game decorations, or ones you’d like to see in the future.
- Lalia’s Market & Store: For all your questions about new additions to Lalia’s Market.
- Neighborhoods: For all questions about current and upcoming housing neighborhoods.
That’s where you’ll be able to submit your questions.
Within the Q&A with SSG category, there will also be a voice channel. You can connect there to listen to the developers’ answers to the questions posted in the text channels above. However, you will not be allowed to speak in the voice channel, questions must remain in written form.
So, if you’re joining us on Discord, the very first thing you should do is connect to the Q&A voice channel to make sure you don’t miss anything!
YouTube:
If you can’t make it this Friday, don’t worry, the Q&A will also be streamed live on YouTube so you can watch it later.
On YouTube, you’ll get the audio of the Q&A, but you won’t be able to submit questions, everything will happen on Discord for that part.
That said, I’d still recommend keeping an eye on YouTube, even if you’re on Discord. You never know…
Important Rules
- As always, be friendly, non-aggressive, and no trolling!
- Text Channels: Please avoid spamming, chit-chatting too much, or answering other players’ questions yourself (as much as possible).
- Important Reminder: This Q&A is about LotRO Housing only—not PvMP, not Raids/Instances, or anything else. The devs will only be answering Housing-related questions.
I will be present with the Discord moderation team to make sure the rules are respected (remember, on my Discord server, I am the law, heh).
