Neighborhood Presentation
The Neighborhood:
You’ve been waiting for years to live peacefully near Elrond? Well, now you can! Welcome to the Rivendell Steadings.
Located on the western heights of Rivendell, this brand-new Elven neighborhood offers breathtaking views. The Lost Temple lies to the west, while the valley of Rivendell stretches out to the east. Live high in the mountains, on a dizzying plateau surrounded by waterfalls and flowing rivers.
The Town Square:
As usual, this Rivendell neighborhood offers all the services you need to settle in comfortably.
This includes a vault-keeper, auctioneer, forge masters, supplier, healer, housing furnisher, task boards and collection boxes, and crafting stations. In addition, there is a housing broker here which will make visiting other neighborhoods quite convenient!

Access to the Rivendell Homestead
There are several ways to access this residential neighborhood:
A gate allows you to enter on foot. It is located near the wooden bridge at the western end of Rivendell (right next to the Skirmish Camp, not far from the stables).
You’ll find the Housing Broker’s Office in Bree (across the street from the Bree-town Hall), allowing you to visit or purchase houses in any of the Housing areas throughout Middle Earth
Since U25.1 – A Stablemaster has been placed in the social center of Housing neighborhoods that offers travel between a number of major destinations across Middle-earth and between housing homesteads.

- You can own a house with a Tower or a Cave you can actually decorate (Rohan only)
- You can use Mobile Hooks in your yards, allowing you to move yard items in all axis (Erebor, Lyndelby Stately houses and Rivendell)
- The smallest house in Gondor has more decoration hooks than any house in Eriador
- Only a one minute cooldown on the house port
- Each premium houses have a Music hook in their yard, and multiple Music hooks inside the house (compared to a single one on classic houses)

- Some hooks are exclusive to premium houses (Fences, Hitching Posts, Lights, Ceiling Surfaces…)
- No monthly maintenance fee for VIP players
- …
