Mar Elenion - The Hall of Stars

The Hall of Stars stands as a treasured gem of the Secret Fire brotherhood halls, where sages and hermits reflect upon the secret paths along which the jewels of Varda journey... Within this space, an ancient elf joyfully sings in reverence to the Queen of the Stars:

Oh Elbereth Gilthoniel!
Upon the canvass of endless night, Thou set thy silver jewels,
in which Menelmacar’s shining sword in southern silence rules;
far Borgil burns with fire-red hue, as a ruby in the cold and Valacirca hangs on high,
in ancient tales of old.
O! Luinil and Carnil pass, in paths the Valar made, above the shiny Arda,
where shadows and silvery lights sewed.

But brighter than all astral lamps, a hope in darkness born,
does Vingilot now sail the sky, the fair and star-lit morn.
Thus, the Eldalië behold the distant coast,
where a mantle of radiant stars gleam,
and the light of Eärendil shines on, a never-ending dream.

Ways of Transport

Not only water flows through this aqueduct, but also trade: A caravan rumbles leisurely over the road between the ancient columns, heavily loaded with the most valuable goods.
While respectable merchants make their way below, a very different business is going on above: A small, rather satisfied Bilwiss paddles comfortably through the canal – he certainly didn't acquire his luggage entirely fairly…
A place where paths cross – some legal, others… let's say, creative.

The Dawn-to-Dusk Deck

Step onto our spacious porch in Lyndelby, where the fire is always lit and the panoramic view of the last village of the Holbytla is nothing short of spectacular. It's the perfect place to catch the sunrise as the local hobbits begin their day, or watch them return at dusk after a long day of adventure (or gardening). Seamlessly connected to the guest quarter, this porch is your private place to chat or simply enjoy morning coffee or tea or to catch the afternoon breeze. Come for the view, stay for the fire, and make yourself at home.

Melian Duwenath (Melian Under Night)

To honor the namesake of our family kin, Children of Melian, I created this small garden of flowers. Melian is surrounded by her magic girdle which protects the land from the servants of Morgoth. Under a starry sky she gazes into the flame in her hand and gleans great wisdom and foresight. The music of songbirds accompanies her great magics.

The Observatory at Tham Elenath

Towering at the heights of the Cape of Belfalas' "Hall of the Starry Host" neighborhood is the Observatory at Tham Elenath, a sprawling campus hosting a magnificent collection of the art, architecture, science, and astronomical and astrophysical knowledge of peoples from across Middle-earth.

While the majority of the buildings on campus are not accessible to the public, the main observatory building is. The crown jewel of this building is the observatory wing itself, accessible to the public only via guided tour, which contains the bulk of our collection of astronomical knowledge, including countless texts, artifacts, and antiquities. Please leave time to experience the awe-inspiring splendour of the observatory dome, where an ancient Moria mirror is situated to aid our scholars in their explorations of the celestial expanses.

Things to know before your visit:

1. No, we are not currently in possession of Saruman's Orrery – please don't @ us!
2. We're still moving in - Please pardon our dust as we continue to move in more treasures and complete our exterior renovations.
3. We are located at 1 Cypress Road, Tham Elenath, Cape of Belfalas, Glamdring.

Lyndelby Jones: Secrets of the Hidden Temple

Inspiration: Opening scene from Raiders of the Lost Ark
Somewhere in the Cape of Umbar, a golden idol has been hidden for centuries within a lost temple ravaged by time. Legends tell of dangerous traps that await careless, treasure-seeking explorers. Watch your step! Treading on the wrong stone will send arrows flying in all directions from ominous holes carved in the walls. If an intrepid adventurer makes it up the stairs, he must then discern how to carefully remove the idol from it's pedestal. One wrong move could trigger some unseen, deadly peril.
