All on Peregrin server:

In the Shire - Thatchcrest

1 Brookbank St, The Gamer's House  (shown above). My fave? perhaps. It was the most diificult to bring to life, but I love how it came out. It is basically a replica of my setup at home. 2 Screens open all the time means I can have a map or other wiki info up for easy reference while I play on the other screen. The owner of this home has her gaming trophies dotted around the desk, and a large poster of her favourite super-hero team on the wall. All she needs other than this is somewhere comfy to sit and to sleep. The desk set-up features a wired mouse, wrist rest, mouse mat, and a wired keyboard!

4 Wending Way, Pocket's personal home.

3 Wending Way, The Bait Shop.

2 Wending Way, Mij's Kitchen. A little experiment where i wanted to try and make a working hob, which I did with the help of my housing buddy Shivv, and also a wash basin. Unfortunately this left little room for much else slot-wise, but I am pleased with the result.

6 Harrow Rd, The Bath House

3 Chalk Rd, Hidden Garden

6 Chalk Rd, Giant Warg Attack! - send help!! This was a fun one, children's rooms are one of my faves, I just love how this little blanket fort came together.

1 Chalk Rd, Perfectly Innocent Sweet Shop. This is my treats house. Be not like the dwarves who delved too deep and too greedily. i.e. please stay outta the back room.

In Lyndelby, Fontigar:

1 & 2 Floodside Rd

Edgemere Rd, The Oasis Market. Be sure to bring plenty of coin! A familiar face will greet you as you enter the indoor market. Speak to him for a gift. If it is dark, he will hold a torch for you as you explore the garden!

So what does housing mean to me? My work in real life is as an artist which takes different forms. One thing that I enjoy in this field and that I think translates well into housing, is playing with the medium. To me this means not using things in the usual ways. It means combining uncommon ingredients, challenging and stretching, playing with size and purpose, attention to detail, and making what’s in your head translate in such a way that others can draw their own enjoyment from it, which may or may not be the same as mine.

I like to inject some humour into housing where I can. When I visit others player’s housing, I often leave with a big grin on my face. That was amazing…... I wasn't expecting that…...I wish I had thought of that!.....How clever!.....so it is a special kind of joy for me to be able to evoke that same feeling in others, and it is my hope that some small aspect of my housing and ideas reaches you in this way, gives a little prompt, some inspiration, or just a smile. Innovative, good design is my happy place. When I see something somebody has thought about and made well, I appreciate both their talent and their gift to me. Good design is what I always strive for, both in my work and here in Lotro.

If you see Pocketmint ingame on Peregrin, her bio has a full list of my current decorated homes.

Best regards, Jay
