I never gamed much until I was stuck in bed during treatment for brain injuries. LotRO kept me sane…ish. I love Tolkien’s world and imagining different lives in it with realistic-ish spaces using Tolkien lore or archaeology. 17 yr player.

MYRTELTON, BREE-LAND
Myrtelton was an attempt to create a Middle-Earth version of a medieval town with some historically accurate details within the confines that we have while still making some fun spaces. Some are mostly humdrum what you'd expect, but others came out better than I expected, while some, like the vet or animal rescue or plant shop, aren't historically accurate at all but couldn't be resisted.

9 Chestnut Street - Old Mother Hubbard Animal Rescue
Sunnlod Hubbard inherited her family home but lost her love when she was young and never remarried. Not needing so much space, she moved into the smaller family home of her late husband and converted her manor house and barn into a home for animals who have lost their owners in all of the conflict. Volunteers are always welcome to help scoop litter boxes and anything else that may be found...
(Thanks to Sylhouette and Vanaei for the inspiration.)

FRITHY, LYNDELBY
Stonegate Path - The Blue Tomb
While watching yet another archaeology documentary, I decided to try to make a Middle Earth version of an ancient tomb, and so was born The Blue Tomb. A team of treasure hunters had heard tales of an ancient people who lived around what is now Lyndelby and decided to search for any tombs. They found more than they ever dreamed. Hopefully they document their finds for history's sake...
(Music on adds to the experience)

FLAXLEY, KINGSTEAD
2 Colt Road
The home of Sunnwen, the heir of the noble family of the small village of Flaxley. During the War of the Ring, she met Ithilrod, a Ranger of Ithilien, and after the War they married and made their home on her family estate, Dúnwick (meaning farm on a hill), for while Flaxley itself wasn’t hit very hard during the War, they wanted to contribute to the rebuilding of Rohan as much as possible, including growing food, replenishing wool flocks, and breeding pure black horses back into the herds.

SANT REMMON, FALATHLORN

Castle Oakendell
There’s no Middle-Earth people or lore in mind here for once, more a medieval archaeological accuracy as the goal. Sant Remmen, meaning woven garden, is the estate of the Lady of Oakendell. Fairwood Lane is her home.

Castle Oakendell features a space for official events, a great hall complete with minstrel’s gallery and space for dancing, a library, and the lady’s suite with a private solar.
