I love elven decor, and my favorite colors are purple & green. I gravitate toward a pair of kin house & personal house next to each other to make a small shared housing compound. The kin house has the public spaces of a foyer, feast hall, pantry, atrium, and studies. Then down the footpath the personal house has the quiet rooms of 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, and a sittingroom/armoury. I tried to tie together the yards by using similar pieces in each yard so they look like it's all one big yard. The kin house has most of my favorite items, then personal house has the leftovers. My fav colors are purple & green, and I don't like red & yellow/gold. So gold is only featured in 1 room (some elven pieces are too cool to forego even if they are gold). I also covered up every red fireplace. I tried to feature greenery, purple & green, elven items, and then whatever the theme of the room was. I did run out of hooks in a few rooms, and struggled to fill a few spaces. Plus a few areas got dark, so I'm looking forward to light hooks in Rivendell.
