Get your Housing questions ready, the LotRO team will try to answer them!
As every year in August, D&Co du Milieu is organizing a Q&A session with the Standing Stone Games team working on Housing in LotRO. For one hour, on Friday, August 21 at 2 PM server time (US Eastern), the developers (Scenario, Orion and friends) will be there to answer your questions about LotRO Housing.
The event will take place on the D&Co du Milieu Discord server, and will also be streamed live on the site’s YouTube channel.
And the timing could not be better: this will certainly be the perfect moment to talk with the devs about the feature announced last week, Neighbours, coming with The Wolves of Mordor. Your home is about to get a lot less lonely, so bring your questions!
How it works
Starting from 2 PM (server time) on Friday, August 21, connect to the D&Co du Milieu Discord or the D&Co du Milieu YouTube channel to participate in the event.
Discord:
After joining our Discord server, you’ll find a category of channels called Q&A with SSG. Under this category, you’ll see the following channels:
- General: for general Housing questions that don’t fit into other categories.
- Housing Hooks: for all your questions about hooks only, existing ones, ones you’d like to see added, or hook consolidation.
- Decoration Items: use this channel to ask questions about in-game decorations, or ones you’d like to see in the future.
- Lalia’s Market & Store: for all your questions about new additions to Lalia’s Market.
- Homesteads: for all questions about current and upcoming housing neighborhoods.
- Neighbours: brand new this year, for everything related to the upcoming neighbours feature (missions, personality traits, gifts, and all the rest).
That’s where you’ll be able to submit your questions. Within the Q&A with SSG category, there will also be a voice channel. You can connect there to listen to the developers’ answers to the questions posted in the text channels above.
So, if you’re joining us on Discord, the very first thing you should do is connect to the Q&A voice channel to make sure you don’t miss anything!

If you can’t make it this Friday, don’t worry, the Q&A will also be streamed live on YouTube so you can watch it later.
On YouTube, you’ll get the audio of the Q&A, but you won’t be able to submit questions, everything will happen on Discord for that part.
Important Rules
- As always, be friendly, non-aggressive, and no trolling!
- Text Channels: please avoid spamming, chit-chatting too much, or answering other players’ questions yourself (as much as possible).
- Important Reminder: This Q&A is about LotRO Housing only – not PvMP, not Raids/Instances, or anything else. The devs will only be answering Housing-related questions.
I will be present with the Discord moderation team to make sure the rules are respected (remember, on my Discord server, I am the law, heh).
