Prince Prospero invites you to weather the storm of pestilence among a select company of friends as his guest at the Old World Abbey. The Abbey and grounds are secured against any intrusion, and amply provided with all we shall need until the Red Death is no longer scouring the countryside.
In celebration of our sanctuary, the Prince announces a Grand Masque on the 8th of the present month. The Abbey’s chambers have been elaborately decorated especially for this occasion. Attire yourself in your most fantastic garb and present this letter to the guards upon your arrival. Prince Prospero eagerly awaits the opportunity to welcome you, and promises an evening of delightful entertainment.
