    Riddle 1

    Riddle I — A Hobbit's Dragon

Ten years ago this site started with one promise: if you saw it in someone else's house, we'd help you put a name to it. Let's test that. Somewhere in our database sits a very old decoration. Here is everything we'll give you about it:
    "A hobbit-made painting of a green dragon."
Name it. Answer format: the decoration's exact name, as listed on this site.
It turned up during Bounder's Bounty, an event that never had many decorations to its name.

    Riddle 2

Riddle II — Count the Flames

When Rohan brought its meadhalls to Middle-earth, it brought a brand-new kind of hook along with them: the fire pit. How many decorations does our database list in the fire pit category? Answer format: a number, digits only.
How many candles are on our birthday cake this year?

    Riddle 3

Riddle III — From the Archives

Our database would be nothing without the world it documents. This one takes you outside our walls. In August 2020, the official LOTRO site published a guide unveiling a brand-new flavour of premium housing. Which land? Answer format: one word.
Two neighbourhoods launched side by side: one out on the grassy plains, one up in the wooded foothills.

    Riddle 4

Riddle IV — The Happiest Hobbit in the Shire

While you're off saving Middle-earth, some folk have rather more pressing matters on their minds. In the Shire, a young hobbit who moved up from Hobbiton is working up the courage to ask a very big question. What is his name? Answer format: the NPC's name as displayed in the English client.
    Did she said "Yes"?

    Riddle 5

    Riddle V — The Decorator's Signature

Ten years spent writing about everyone else's houses. Time you saw one of mine.

I've written something on the floor of my kinship house, among the flowers, the trees and the waterfalls. One letter per room. They're all indoors, and you just have to go in and look down.

Put them in the right order and you have your answer.

Address: 1 High Road, Arwich — Bree-land homesteads Server: Sting

Not on Sting? Rolling a character there takes three minutes and costs nothing.

    Answer format: one word.
    Three letters.

    Riddle 6

Riddle VI — The Leaky Boat

Not every hobbit adventure ends in song. Somewhere in the Shire, one very determined fellow has set out on the journey of a lifetime: downriver, all the way to a cousin's house in Buckland. His boat has a hole in the bottom of it. A watcher on the bank is doing his level best to talk him out of drowning himself, and getting nowhere. Name him. Full name, please. Answer format: the NPC's full name as displayed in the English client.
He claims he's paddled all the way from Frogmorton.

    Riddle 7

Riddle VII — The One That Got Away

Some decorations you will simply never own. This one hasn't been obtainable since ages. Back then, pre-ordering the expansion earned you a coin, and that coin could be traded for a small bright thing that sings. Name it, and mind the spelling. Answer format: the decoration's exact name, as listed on this site.
It can fly. Well, it could. Now it's trapped in a cage.
