Q&A with members of the LotRO Team on Discord

Do you have questions about the future of LotRO housing? You may get some answers…

Hello housing nerds!

I am pleased to announce that – again – members of the LotRO development team will have a moment to chat with us about LotRO Housing in our Discord server.

So, if you have questions about housing (mainly!), feel free to join us on August 19th at noon (12p.m. EDT) to have a chance to get some answers.

The LotRO Team will be around for about an hour.

About Discord and the Q&A:

Starting on August 19th at noon (EDT), log on to our Discord server to ask the team some questions.

Edit: there was an issue with the discord link, it has been fixed!

How it will work:

After you join our Discord you'll be able to find a Q&A category.

Under the Q&A category, you'll find the following channels:

• General: ask the LotRO team things that won't fit in the other channels
• Housing Hooks: housing hooks only - existing hooks, hooks you'd like to see, and hooks consolidation.
• Decoration Items: use this to post your questions about any and all existing or desired decoration items.
• Neighborhoods: Gather here all questions regarding homesteads, current and future.

Those will be the channels where you'll be able to ask your questions to the LotRO team.

Under the Q&A category, you'll also find a voice channel named "Q&A - Audio" to which everyone will be able to connect and hear the devs answering the questions they choose from the text channels. However, you won't be able to talk in the voice channel, only SSG members will be able to.
Devs will also have the ability to respond sequentially to questions on each of the channels created for the Q&A.

So, the first thing you should do on August 19th is to log to the audio channel so you can listen to the answers from the dev team!

A few rules:

• As always, be kind, non-aggressive, and please, no TROLLING!
• Text channels: please, stick to asking questions and refrain from chit-chatting too much or replying to other players’ questions for the team.

I will be monitoring and moderating the whole session.

Note: for those who won't be able to make it, a transcript will be available on the website a few days after the event.
